What is semiconductor cooling and why does it matter?

Conventional fans move air that is already hot — they refresh, but they don't truly cool. This fan incorporates a Peltier semiconductor module that extracts heat from the contact surface and dissipates it on the opposite side, creating an actively colder zone. The result is a significantly more intense cooling sensation than with a fan with blades only — especially on the wrist, neck, or face.

In direct contact with the skin, the semiconductor surface can be 8-12°C below ambient temperature when in active cooling mode. It's not air conditioning — it's a localized cooling point for the wrist, neck, or face. Combined with the airflow, the cooling sensation is significantly more intense than with a conventional fan.

Are the 100 speeds real speeds or just 5-10 disguised levels?

They are 100 real continuous regulation levels — the brushless motor allows fine adjustment of the rotation speed continuously. The difference between each level is small but noticeable, especially in the low ranges (1-30) where the breeze intensity control is finer.
