Planting bulbs, flowers, or seedlings with a shovel or hand trowel is exhausting, imprecise, and takes too long. The spiral garden auger attaches to any electric drill and drills perfect holes in seconds, with the exact depth and diameter you need. Forget the effort: let the machine do the work while your plants grow healthier from day one.
Made of high-strength steel with a universal hexagonal shaft compatible with most electric drills and drivers. Available in three diameters — 8 cm, 9 cm, and 10 cm — and seven lengths from 25 to 60 cm, offering 14 combinations to fit any planting depth. The wide-pitch spiral efficiently removes soil without clogging, even in clay or compacted soils.
Ideal for planting tulip, iris, and daffodil bulbs and other seasonal flowers. It also drills perfect holes for transplanting nursery seedlings, installing sod plugs, sowing seeds in rows, or digging out weeds by the root. The 8 cm diameter is perfect for planters and window boxes; the 9 and 10 cm sizes are ideal for small shrubs and larger plantings in vegetable gardens and gardens.

While other augers bend or clog in hard soil, this spiral earth auger maintains its shape thanks to the hardened steel treatment. The optimized-pitch helical design reduces penetration resistance by up to 40% compared to conventional models, allowing you to drill faster with less strain on the drill. Universal compatibility with hexagonal shafts means you don't need to buy additional adapters: it fits directly.
The spiral garden auger is designed to last season after season. The steel does not rust with normal outdoor use, and cleaning is as simple as wiping off the dirt with a damp cloth. Every purchase includes a free pair of gardening gloves, so you can start planting the same day it arrives. With 14 diameter and length combinations available, it is the only digging tool you will need in your garden for years.
The auger features a standard 3/8" universal hexagonal shaft that fits most electric drills, impact drivers, and rotary hammers with an adjustable chuck. Just make sure your drill has enough torque (we recommend at least 500 rpm for compacted soils).
For small bulbs such as crocuses or muscaris, choose the 8 cm diameter and 25-30 cm length. For medium bulbs such as tulips or daffodils, the 8-9 cm with 30-35 cm length is ideal. For large bulbs such as gladioli or dahlias, opt for 10 cm and 40-50 cm.
Yes. It works in sandy, loamy, clay, and mixed soils. In very compacted soils or soils with stones, we recommend lightly moistening the soil beforehand and using a low-to-medium speed on the drill to prevent clogging. It is not recommended for soils with thick, intertwined roots.
Absolutely. The 8 cm diameter is especially practical for making drainage holes or transplanting in large planters and window boxes. The 25-30 cm length is sufficient for most garden or patio containers.
In normal moist soil conditions, the auger digs a hole 30 cm deep in 3-8 seconds. In dry or compact soil, it may take 15-20 seconds. Compared to digging by hand, the time savings is 10:1 on large projects.
The 8 cm diameter is the most versatile: bulbs, small seedlings, and planters. The 9 cm is ideal for plants with larger root systems, such as rose bushes or small shrubs. The 10 cm is designed for larger transplants, planting young trees, or sowing vegetables such as leeks and onions.
It does not require complex maintenance. After each use, clean off the clinging dirt with a brush or damp cloth. To extend its service life, apply a thin layer of mineral oil or WD-40 at the end of the planting season. Store it in a dry place to prevent surface oxidation.
Yes. The rotary action of the spiral earth auger is very effective for extracting deep-rooted weeds such as dandelions or thistles. Insert the auger next to the root, twist slightly, and pull up to remove the plant without damaging neighboring plants.
